How can I become one of the people chosen to be a Candidate Author on
Book Millionaire?

Are you mailing applications?
A: We are sorry. Applications are no
longer available.
Q:
Will you be letting us know that you have received our application?
A: The best way for you to
know your application has been received by us is to send it with a
return receipt. That way you know that we have signed for your
application and it has been delivered. A return receipt is not
necessary for us nor will it move your application to the top or a
preferred status. It is simply a way that you can know your application
was delivered and we received it.
Q:
Once you have the applications and start reviewing them, how will I
know if you picked me or what is the next step?
A: We will be reviewing each
application we receive. We will be going through a selection process.
If you are selected for further interviews, an in-person casting call
or for the show, we will contact you using the information you provide
on your application. Please make sure the information contains an email
address and best phone number(s) as those will be the preferred and
quickest ways we communicate with you.
Q: Do
I have to have a book already written or published? Or can I have just
a book idea?
A: All applicants will be
considered for the show regardless if their books are written,
partially written or still an idea. We are looking for a person who
desires to be America's next Book Millionaire and best selling author.
This means the book may or may not be written yet nor would it need to
be written before filming of the show.
Q: If
I am chosen as a Candidate Author, what do I have to do?
A: You and other chosen Candidate
Authors will come to a filming location near Minneapolis, Minnesota. Eight people with dreams of seeing their book ideas become
published and being the next author launched to best selling and
celebrity status will meet our Publishing Committee.You and others will complete a series of tasks which pertain to book
promotion and living the lifestyle of a best selling author. You will
not need to have your own book finished for the filming. Rather, we
will use prominent company products and currently published books for
the tasks.
Q: If
I am chosen as a Candidate Author, how much time will be required for
filming?
A: Filming will take
approximately 10 to 14 days.
Q: At
the end of the filming, will a Book Millionaire winner be chosen?
A: Yes. We will be filming
the actual selection process leading up to the culmination of one
Candidate Author being chosen as the Book Millionaire. The winner of
Book Millionaire will be granted the ultimate dream — to enjoy the
lifestyle of being a successfully published author. And they will
receive additional prizes to help achieve the goal of Best Selling and
Celebrity Status and becoming the America’s next Book Millionaire.

What if I miss the application deadline for the first season?
A: It is our goal to begin
filming a second season shortly after the first. If you miss the
application deadline for season one, then send in the application for
season two consideration.

I am not chosen to be one of the Candidate Authors or I don't want to
be on national television, can I still be published?
A: Yes, you still have great
publishing options. Your first step is to make sure that you have

depth and detail on how to become published and how to achieve best
